At UC Irvine, our AIChE student chapter is proud to take on the challenge of the Chem-E-Car Competition, where engineering meets real-world problem-solving. This annual competition pushes students to design, build, and optimize a car powered solely by a chemical energy source- tasked with traveling a precise distance and stopping safely. Through hands-on experimentation, collaboration, and application of principles learned in our coursework, our UCI team is refining technical skills and gaining national recognition at regional and final competitions.
